Raising Dough - No Baking Required

Well, it's been too long since I've been here!! ButI have good reason....we have busy trying to raise support, excitement, participation, and awareness - not to mention MONEY - for our team, the races and the Dragboat Festival in general!



In speaking to local businesses, I have informed a number of people about dragonboats and the festival here in Oshkosh. Like myself, many had never been to the Festival - some had never heard of it. Hopefully they make it to the Festival this year and it becomes an annual event in their fall schedules!



Back to the dough........the Dragon Slayers have solicited an impressive number and variety of raffle prizes - seventeen lucious prize packages to be exact. We've got Packer tickets, restaurant gift cards, golf shirts, free pastries, etc. These graciously donated items will be raffled to our co-workers to raise money in support of our team.

In August.....a cook-out!! Stay tuned! :-)

Getting Started

Well....this is going to be a whole new experience for me....and Omni!

I'm sure a large number of our employees have their own, personal MySpace or FaceBook pages. And some may have even previously sampled the blogosphere, but not little ol' me! I have absolutely no online, social networking history.

Of course, we have an existing company website - omnigp.com - with all of our company information as well as the complete array of services we provide, but...........a blog?? No. This is definitely a first!

PLEASE bear with me as I get used to the water temperature - now that my toes are wet, I hope to move toward the deep end fairly quickly. But don't expect to see me take a header off the high-dive just yet! LOL
